My Trip To Tonga

Learning goal: We are learning to write a Recount.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I write an orientation, events in order, and  an ending.

In the holidays my family and I went to Tonga to visit my uncle. My uncle lived in Eua. I had a swim in the cool sea. The white sand was sparkling in the sun.It was very hot in Tonga.
I was happy to be back in New Zealand.

Popcorn

Learning goal: We are learning to write a descriptive text.
Success criteria: We can do this when we can describe popcorn using our five senses.

Yesterday we cooked popcorn. It smelt delicious. It looked yellow and lumpy. It popped like a fire cracker. It tasted salty and buttery. It crunched in mouth.
